About SarvYoga

Clear, responsible yoga education for everyday practice

SarvYoga helps readers understand yoga through practical, easy-to-follow educational guides. We focus on yoga poses, pranayama, meditation, practice planning, traditional context, alignment awareness and sensible modifications.

Making yoga knowledge easier to understand

Yoga includes much more than physical postures. It also includes breath awareness, concentration, meditation, self-observation, disciplined practice and a long tradition of study. Our purpose is to explain these subjects in clear language while respecting their wider context.

We create educational content for beginners, regular practitioners, yoga students and readers who want a more structured understanding of practice. Our guides are designed to support learning, not to replace direct instruction from a qualified yoga teacher.

Yoga teachers supported by careful technical and editorial work

SarvYoga is maintained by a small team that includes three yoga teachers, together with technical and editorial support. This combination helps us present yoga information in a way that is useful for practitioners, easy to navigate and responsible in its wording.

We do not present yoga education as medical diagnosis or treatment. Where a practice is unfamiliar, advanced or difficult to adapt, we encourage readers to learn directly from a qualified yoga teacher.

How we approach our content

Clarity before complexity

We use direct language, clear headings and practical steps so readers can understand the subject without unnecessary jargon.

Yoga education first

Our scope is yoga practice, philosophy, breath awareness, meditation, teaching context and responsible learning.

Responsible wording

We avoid promises of diagnosis, treatment or cure. We explain practical limitations and encourage appropriate guidance.

Useful review and correction

We improve older material when wording, structure or relevance can be made clearer. Readers may contact us to report an error.

Learn steadily and practise within your limits

Information on SarvYoga is provided for yoga education and general awareness. Individual experience, mobility and familiarity with a technique can vary. Do not force a posture, strain the breath or continue a practice that feels unsuitable.

Use appropriate props and modifications, keep the breath natural unless a technique specifically requires otherwise, and seek guidance from a qualified yoga teacher when learning unfamiliar or advanced practices.
