Editorial Policy
SarvYoga publishes material for yoga education. Our pages focus on the meaning of yoga practices, traditional context, steps, alignment, breathing, props, modifications, common mistakes, practice limits and teacher guidance.
Scope of publication
Material should remain meaningfully connected to yoga. Unrelated subjects are revised toward a genuine yoga-education purpose or removed from the editorial plan.
Instructional clarity
Practice instructions should use clear sequencing and realistic modifications. Advanced postures, retention, bandha, cleansing disciplines and specialised practice should be presented with appropriate limits and qualified yoga-teacher guidance.
Traditional context
When discussing Sanskrit terms, yoga philosophy or lineage-based methods, articles should distinguish traditional explanation from modern practice advice. Different schools may organise or interpret a practice differently.
Authorship
Existing authors remain credited on their published work. Editorial revision does not replace the named author or add unrelated authorship statements.
Images and links
Images should support the yoga topic being explained. Internal links should guide readers toward relevant SarvYoga poses, breathing practices, meditation guides and foundational learning pages.
Corrections and updates
Titles, instructions, formatting and references may be revised when a page is unclear, outdated, outside the site’s yoga-education scope or inconsistent with current editorial standards. Existing URLs are preserved whenever practical.
Practice language
SarvYoga avoids guaranteed outcomes and exaggerated promises. Readers are encouraged to use props, avoid force, keep breathing natural and learn unfamiliar advanced methods from a qualified yoga teacher.
